ANCHOR MARKETPLACE HOLIDAY EVENT

Anchor Homeschool is delighted to bring you Anchor Marketplace, a one day outdoor event on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 11:00-1:00, to support our local, young and old entrepreneurs. This is a great opportunity for our next generation to learn about marketing and handling money while selling their own handcrafted or homegrown items in a fun and safe environment.

● Participants must be 6 and up (this is not a drop off event).
● College students and Parents are welcome to showcase their business and/or products. If you have a side business (even if it’s not online; maybe someone knows someone in your area that could use your product/service 😉), offer a product or service, have an Etsy shop, are part of an MLM company, or have a blog, etc.
● Young entrepreneurs can sell books, beaded jewelry, greeting cards, bath products, homemade goodies, artwork, clothing and more!
● Kids may charge a maximum of ten dollars for their products/services.
● Registered entrepreneurs please set up your products at least 15 mins before the scheduled event and please read the Anchor Marketplace Guidelines. Everyone will have an excellent opportunity to gain experience in operating a business and supporting our local parents with their goods and services.

Register online before or on December 1, 2020 (1 week before the event takes place, this will help us to prepare or if we need to postpone the event due to low participation). If you have any
questions or concerns, please call Stacey Christodoulou at 813-812-5688. Thank you in advance!

The mission of the Anchor Marketplace is to provide a safe and supportive place to practice being an entrepreneur. Kids are encouraged to explore any aspect of creativity that they enjoy from
playing music, creating art, baking, and just about anything they can think of that can be sold or displayed at the marketplace.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT?
Complete your registration and reserve your spot by December 1, 2020. (If you are not an Anchor member please reserve your spot by calling Stacey Christodoulou @ 813-812-5688.)

WHAT TIME IS SET UP?

From 10:15am-10:45 am. This holiday event starts at 11:00am and ends at 1:00pm

WHAT TO SELL:

Anything! Preferred handmade by kids, but they can sell anything (retail items or made by mom/dad). The only requirement is that the kids do the selling at their table.
Help your child package/label the items clearly. (Please list allergy related products such as nuts, dairy or soy)

• If you are selling food items you are required to have proper Cottage Law packaging and labeling to be able to sell your product at the Kids Market. Please for more information on
Florida Cottage Law go here https://www.freshfromflorida.com/Business-Services/Food-Establishment-Inspections/Cottage-Foods.

Some ideas: Crafts, Art, Honey, Ice cream, Soaps, Toys, Games, Cotton Candy, Home bottled fruits/salsa/etc, Popcorn, and anything else that would make this a diverse offering. The idea is
that kids sell what they have made or have helped make, but that is not required. There is no restriction on what kids sell as long as their products are kid-friendly (obviously). Bring your kids,
help them set up and then hang out in the back of the booth or around the market while they sell!

WHAT TO BRING:

– 6ft or 8ft Table and chairs (If you do not have a table please contact Stacey Christodoulou at 813-812-5688) All tables must display the name of your business and signs stating your prices.
– {Optional} Beach umbrella for shade or canopy (Your canopy should be shareable with the neighboring booth)
– Some change for your child to make change for customers
– Snacks/drinks for your child to keep energized

SMILE, LEARN AND HAVE FUN!
