Suncoast Youth Conservation Center Field Trip

This hands on field trip features marine science education that teaches stewardship and conservation in the mangroves of Newman Branch Creek and Tampa Bay. Students will learn about plants and animals found in the area. This field trip is only open to students in 3rd-8th grades and children younger than 8 are not permitted on the site.

Things you should bring for a fun filled day at SYCC:

• Waivers
• Packed lunch
• Refillable water bottle 
• Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes that will be wet and muddy. No flip flops or no crocs. 
• Wear clothes that can get wet and muddy
• Sunscreen, bug spray, and hand sanitizer
• Hat, sunglasses, and mask
• Towel, change of clothes, and dry socks & shoes (optional)
