The mission of Croc Encounters is two-fold, to be a haven for unwanted reptiles and be an educational facility – fighting the stigma associated with these animals and creating awareness for their plight in the wild.
The field trip will start with an educational program under the covered pavilion with 8-10 reptiles including snakes, lizards, turtles/tortoises and a small alligator where the kids will get to touch the animals. The presentation is up to an hour, we break for lunch (packed lunch) and then go on a tour for another hour where the children will get to feed a group of alligators, turtles and tortoises and learn about the animals. The field trips are very hands on and educational.
All attendees age 1 and up are $10 per person and remember to pack a lunch! Final numbers and payment are due to them 24 hours before. Please register and pay (Paypal victoria.dahm@gmail.com or find me at co-op!) prior to February 8th so I can finalize with them.
