The Humane Society of Tampa Bay offers students an opportunity to visit their shelter and learn more about how they help animals and the community.
The trip includes a shelter tour (with a behind the scenes look at the process of getting animals ready for adoption), an activity to help the shelter animals, TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return) presentation, and plenty of time to spend with the shelter animals.
This field trip is for ages 5 and up only. If you have children under 5 that are not allowed behind the scenes, you can still register your older children for the field trip as we will have plenty of chaperones. You can visit the animals with your little ones while the field trip is going on.
$12 per student – No charge for chaperones.
